Choose from straightforward unlaminated or laminated cards through to premium options including soft-touch, spot UV and foil. Every supplied artwork file is checked before production for obvious issues that could affect the finished result.
Gloss lamination: a shinier finish that helps colours and images appear more vibrant.
Soft-touch lamination: a smooth, velvety finish for a more premium feel.
Spot UV: clear gloss applied selectively to elements such as logos, text or graphic details to create contrast against the surrounding finish.
Foiling: metallic foil finishes are available on selected specifications, including options such as gold and silver.
Printing: full-colour CMYK, single or double-sided.
Artwork: supply a print-ready PDF at the correct finished size with 3mm bleed where colour runs to the edge.
Alternative formats: other sizes can be produced where required. Share the finished dimensions when requesting your quote.
3mm bleed: Add 3mm bleed on every edge where colours, images or backgrounds run to the trim. Keep important text and logos safely inside the finished edge.
CMYK colour: Set artwork to CMYK where possible. RGB artwork may change in appearance when converted for print.
Image quality: Use images at approximately 300dpi at their final printed size for the best result.
Fonts: Embed fonts in your PDF or convert them to outlines where appropriate.

Also accepted: AI and EPS files can be supplied where necessary, although a correctly prepared PDF is normally preferred for production.
Check that your artwork contains the correct finished size, bleed, embedded or outlined fonts and high-resolution images before sending it to us.
If you're unsure how to prepare the finishing layer, send us your artwork and specification before production and we'll advise on the required setup.
When exporting from Canva:
- Use PDF Print rather than PNG or JPG.
- Enable Crop marks and bleed.
- Extend background colours and images fully into the bleed area.
- Keep text, logos and other important details comfortably inside the trim.
You can also visit our print templates page for artwork setup information and common print sizes.
Include your order or quote reference where available so we can match the artwork to the correct job. Our pre-press team will check the supplied file before production and flag obvious setup issues that could affect the finished cards.
Premium Business Card Printing in London
Your business card is often one of the first physical impressions someone has of your brand. We print business cards in-house at our North London studio, with same-day options, premium stocks and specialist finishes available depending on your specification.
Business Card Sizes for UK Printing
Choose from standard, square, slim and folded business card formats. For most businesses, we recommend the standard UK size of 85 × 55 mm, which fits comfortably into wallets and conventional card holders.
Standard Business Cards
The standard UK business card size and our most popular format. Ideal for everyday business use, networking, contact details, QR codes and company branding.
Square & Slim Cards
55 × 55 mm square cards create a distinctive, design-led look, while 85 × 40 mm slim cards work particularly well with clean, minimal designs.
Folded Business Cards
Add extra room for appointment details, service menus, price lists or additional information while keeping the convenience of a compact business card format.
Not sure which business card size to choose?
For most customers, 85 × 55 mm is the best starting point. It's the recognised standard UK business card size and works well for professional, corporate and everyday networking use.

Choose the Right Business Card Stock & Finish
Choose your business card stock based on how quickly you need the cards and the finish you want. Same-day business cards are available on selected quantities using 350gsm Mayfair Ivory or 400gsm uncoated, while our standard service includes 400gsm uncoated and 400gsm silk with lamination.
Business card stocks
350gsm Mayfair Ivory
A premium uncoated board with a natural, tactile feel. Suitable for selected same-day business card orders and a good choice for understated branding or cards that may need to be written on.
400gsm Uncoated
A heavier uncoated stock available for both same-day and standard business card production, depending on the quantity and specification. Its natural surface also makes it practical when writing on the card is important.
400gsm Silk
A smooth coated stock used for our standard laminated business cards. Choose matt, gloss or soft-touch lamination depending on the appearance and feel you want.
Laminations
Matt Lamination
Smooth and understated with reduced glare. A popular choice for corporate cards, professional services and clean, minimal designs.
Gloss Lamination
Gives the surface a brighter, shinier appearance and works particularly well with stronger colours, photography and more vibrant artwork.
Soft-Touch Lamination
A smoother, velvety-feel laminate for customers looking for a more tactile and premium finish than standard matt lamination.
Premium finishes
Foil
Metallic foil can be applied selectively to logos, names or design details to create a more distinctive premium result. Produced to order on selected business card specifications.
Spot UV
A clear gloss effect applied selectively to areas of the design to create contrast against the surrounding surface, particularly on matt-laminated cards.
Rounded Corners
Rounded corners soften the appearance of the card and work well with modern layouts, laminated cards and more design-led branding.
Which Business Card Is Right for You?
You don't necessarily need the most expensive specification to create a professional business card. Start with how quickly you need them, how the cards will be used and the impression you want them to make.
Need Business Cards Today?
Choose 350gsm Mayfair Ivory or 400gsm uncoated. These are our options for selected same-day quantities when your order and approved artwork are received by the cut-off.
Want a Classic Professional Card?
400gsm silk with matt lamination is a strong choice for corporate cards and everyday networking, giving the card a smooth, clean and understated finish.
Need to Write on the Card?
Choose an uncoated stock. The untreated surface is better suited to appointment details, notes or other information that may need to be added by hand.
Want a More Premium Feel?
Consider 400gsm silk with soft-touch lamination for a smoother tactile finish, or add foil or Spot UV when you want selected design elements to stand out.
Using Strong Colours or Photography?
400gsm silk with gloss lamination can work particularly well with colourful artwork and photographic designs where a brighter, shinier surface suits the branding.
Need More Room for Information?
Consider a folded business card when you need space for appointment details, services, prices or additional information without moving to a completely different printed product.
